Water soluble fertilizers can easily be introduced to the soil or leached out of it after being dissolved in water. It is simple to regulate the precise amount of nutrients made available to plants when using water-soluble fertilizers. The NPK value on the label for these water-soluble fertilizers is not the concentration itself, but rather the grade in which it is offered. The letters N, P, and K stand for nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, respectively. The most important nutrient is nitrogen.
